We are looking for new design for our 2014 Mammoth Fall Century and Gran Fondo ride jersey and T-shirt. The January 20 deadline date may be extended a week or so. If you are a creative type or know someone who is, submit a design. In addition to the $500 design award, we'll give you public recognition. The attached images contain our 2014 poster (near final draft), contest rules and the 2013 jersey to see what we did last year.

Contest Rules
High Sierra Fall Century and Gran Fondo September 6 2014 Invitation to submit an Event Jersey Design

The High Sierra Fall Century and Gran Fondo is a recreational endurance ride entering its 20th season. The event now attracts 1,100 riders and we anticipate passing 2,000 riders participating in the next two years.

The event is managed by an Organizing Committee working on behalf of Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation, and the event itself is operated by this committee, Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, and is assisted by 8 local clubs and organizations.

  • We invite design submissions for the 2014 jersey. The winning design will receive a $500 design prize along with extensive publicity and promotion for the designer.

  • Full acknowledgement given to the artist/company on our website and Facebook pages, as well as Rack Cards and Posters. Website: FallCentury.Org receives 20,000 unique visitors, with 60,000 page views and an average visit duration of 25 minutes.

  • A press release and news item will be presented acknowledging the winning artist who is supporting Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation in their work of supporting kids in the community in education and sports.

  • The design is due by January 20 2014 - This date is being extended 1-2 weeks.

  • We have a relationship with Voler Cycling clothing, based and manufactured in

California. We use their templates and their designers assist in the final placement of the design on the clothing template to ensure all sizes of the garment receive the graphic as intended by the artist.

  • The design should be both a souvenir of an amazing bike ride in the Eastern High Sierra, and a source of inspiration for others to come to our area and ride.

  • The design often reflects the Fall Season and has often used designs reminding

us of fall colors, leaves, mountains and associated cycling imagery.

  • Modern or Retro design images are equally considered.

  • Jerseys have run the gamut of bright, highly visible colors that make riders

visible on the road, to white and also basic black.
